God Is Good

May your struggles keep you near the cross

And may your troubles show that you need God

And may your battles end the way they should

And may your bad days prove that God is good

And may your whole life prove that God is good

I heard this song a couple of years ago when I was going through a hard season. It is a simple song but leaves a great impact. As I replayed the song many many times it allowed me to get my mind off of myself and back toward God. As I continue to live this Christian way, it reminds me that it's not all about Me. Everything that I am going through now and until I die,

I want it to lead me to the Cross. Even when I don't feel like it because of my circumstances God Is Still GOOD!

Jesus declared, “No one is good—except God alone” (Luke 18:19). First John 1:5 tells us that “God is light; in Him, there is no darkness at all.” To say that God is good means that God always acts in accordance with what is right, true, and good. Goodness is part of God’s nature, and He cannot contradict His nature. Holiness and righteousness are part of God’s nature; He cannot do anything that is unholy or unrighteous.

God is the standard of all that is good.

So, when you are going through hard things and it seems like you are barely making it.

Remember who your Father is. He is Good and because of that whatever you are going through it is working for your good because GOD IS GOOD.
