Romans 12:1-2
12 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view

of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
When we offer our bodies to Christ that is the ultimate of Self Care. We are called to be Good Stewards of what God has given us. I found this definition and I think it fits perfectly with what I consider Self Care for me as a Christian is. Steward - "Utilizing and managing all resources God provides for the glory of God and the betterment of His creation." The central essence of biblical worldview stewardship is managing everything God brings into the believer's life in a manner that honors God ... Self Care plays a big part in renewing your mind, and what does that look like? Psalms 5:15 tells us; Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. Our minds are a battlefield, plain and simple. I love the way John Piper puts it; The problem with our minds is not merely that we are finite, and don’t have all the information. The problem is that our minds are fallen. They have a spirit, a bent, a mindset that is hostile to the absolute supremacy of God. Our minds are bent on not seeing God as infinitely more worthy of praise than we are, or the things we make or achieve. As the last part of verse 2 tell us that when we do this Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Yes, Self Care is Great, I love to take naps, get massages, getting my hair done( now that's a big one) and at times I just need a break. So I am not saying you can't or shouldn't do those things but we have to do it in light of Scripture. How do we do this Self Care?
Rest, we have to abide in Christ. We have one body and one life to live so Rest is important.
Have quiet time. Calm your brain and just breathe.
Take time every day to be with God.
