Problems and Trials....

One of the main reasons women don't share their problems is because they are told they shouldn't have problems because they are Saved. We know this is bad teaching or wrong advice. The bible has example after example of people who had trials and problems. Here are some of the Saints or Heros of the Faith who had problems but God saw them through them all.

Noah, Gideon, David, Samuel, Elijah, and all the Prophets had their own set of problems. The bible talks about them being tortured, imprisoned, wondering about in the desert, and like Elijah lived in a cave to get away from the infamous Jezebel.

We as followers of Christ are going to have problems, just as sure as we live and breathe. This is an absolute fact. It doesn't matter how close your relationship with God is, you are going to have problems. You are not unique. You can be in a room with a group of women dressed up and look beautiful from the outside. I guarantee you some deep-seated hurts are covered up with perfume, jewelry, and a pair of bad shoes!

The fact that you have problems is not what matters. What matters is what you choose to do about them.

Although God often protects us from harm and delivers us when we are in danger, He does not promise us a trouble-free life. We can expect problems, disappointments, and mistreatment.

Think of trials as training! God has to train His troops. Have you ever heard of any staff sergeant who got to where he/she was without going through tough situations? God has to prepare His children for the future. Read what Jesus told his followers:

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. (John 16:33)

Trials, and Problems Quotes

  • “Trials teach us what we are; they dig up the soil and let us see what we are made of.” – Charles Spurgeon

  • “Prayer is the best armor against all trials.”

  • “A gem cannot be polished without friction, nor a man perfected without trials.”

  • “Being on a spiritual path does not prevent you from facing the darkness, but it teaches you how to use the darkness as a tool to grow.”

Here are some scriptures that will help as you continue to grow in Christ

James 1:12 “God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.”

Galatians 6:9 “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

Hebrews 10:35-36 “So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.”

Be assured my sister, you are Not in this alone. Your sisters are going through some of the same things you are going through. So, don't let the devil persuade you otherwise!

YOU WILL GET THROUGH THIS!
